Screen Shot 2014-03-06 at 5.20.36 PMA White House-sponsored student film festival challenged students to make movies showing the impact and promise of technology in their classrooms.

The contest drew more than 2,500 submissions.

Sixteen were chosen for screening at the White House on Thursday. See them here.

They’re remarkable in showing how deeply students understand and appreciate the great changes now occurring in their schools. You’ll be impressed by the kids’ creativity. And optimism.
